Jeffrey Coviello

Jeffrey Coviello is an experienced commercial lawyer and litigator with unique experience representing both plaintiffs and defendants in commercial disputes and advising alternative asset managers and others on legally and structurally complex situations and strategies and litigation-driven recoveries.

Early in his career, Jeff spent nearly 10 years handling major business disputes and complex commercial litigation at the global law firm Simpson Thacher & Bartlett LLP. At CWD, Jeff continues to advise and represent clients in and out of court with a particular emphasis on breach of contract matters, partnership disputes and other "business divorces," shareholder disputes and equity forfeiture matters, fraud and other business torts, breach of fiduciary duty and corporate governance matters, and employment-related disputes. In addition, Jeff frequently teams with the Firm's Business and Corporate law attorneys to provide advice to clients on a variety of business law matters including risk mitigation and litigation avoidance, as well as various contract and transactional matters.

Jeff is active in his community, serving on the Board of Directors of the Greenwich United Way. Jeff is also a member of the Board of Directors of the National Football Foundation and College Hall of Fame (Westchester Chapter).
